Thank you SO much for letting us know this! This is the real info that we need. -many hugs- I’m glad that you’re doing much better now though. I went to the doc today! Had my blood work redone again. So now, it’s really beginning. Once I have everything in, I’ll see the doctor, and straight into surgery from there. Glad to see you so much this week though, it’s nice to see you popping up. Hehe. Currently Trinity hospital is working with their parent company CHS, to figure out the insurance issues. THis is the reason for the delay in getting these cases done. As far as I’m concerned this is a reasonable procedure to consider and we have seen good success with weight loss after the procedure. I will keep you posted about the progress at Trinity. We hope to have this resolved soon.

I am a patient of Dr. Blaney that is requesting to get approval for the ROSE procedure and was told that the ROSE procedure could not be performed at Trinity Hospital unless you were paying by cash. If this is true, is Dr. Blaney recommending another surgeon that can perform the procedure at another hospital?

We can’t stress enough the importance of being active. Starting before surgery helps to reduce the risk of surgery and makes recovery easier. If you allow the sugery to do the work of the weightloss without incorporating proper diet and exercise into your postop routine, then your weightloss will not be nearly as great and you will be more likely to regain years later.
